How can we help you today?

The firm was founded in 1992 with the aim of providing high quality legal services to the people of Harrogate and the surrounding area. Over the years the firm has become increasingly focused on its specialist fields where people often find it hard to obtain advice at an affordable price

We hold the Legal Services Commission Qualitymark in the field of family law and instructions from legally aided clients are always welcomed.

There are four core areas to the firm and you can obtain more details about these by clicking on the links at the side of the page. We hope that the information on the site will be of assistance to both existing and future clients and a source of general information at times when the office is closed and more detailed advice cannot be obtained.

Family Law

In this area we can advise in relation to divorce, cohabitation, civil partnerships, financial arrangements on divorce and separation and making arrangements for children

Children

The law relating to children has developed into a specialist field in its own right and requires a wide range of knowledge not confined to legal issues. We have specialist experience in all forms of proceedings relating to children including care proceedings, applications for residence and contact by parents, grandparents and other family members, adoption, special guardianship and consents to medical treatment

Buying and Selling Your Home

We offer a full range of competitively priced services to help your move go as smoothly as possible. We will provide you with full details of the costs in advance. We can also provide competitively priced Home Information Packs. Searches and completions are carried out electronically wherever possible using the most up to date technology.

Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney

Making a will is a simple and effective way to make sure that your family and loved ones are taken care of. You can also make arrangements for the management of your affairs in the event that illness prevented you from doing this for yourself.
